Beat Kall Fimbulbringer, the Deep North final boss: 3 Malicious Blood, blunt/slash only, survive the boss-spirit gauntlet, finish the game with Sacrificial Blood.

This is the quick, prep-only version. For the full three-phase breakdown and every attack, see the Kall Fimbulbringer guide.
Verified (1.0): The summoning chain (3 Malicious Blood → Aesir Passage → The Prison), the resistance profile and the ~47,000 HP three-phase split are confirmed. This page covers preparation only — the full fight tactics live on the complete guide. See our verification workflow.
Preparation checklist
- Beat Fader and reach the Deep North with Ashlands-tier gear, frost resistance and Bloodgold/Nord weapons.
- Portal hub — Jotun invasions spawn at random world locations, often far from Mörkhalla.
- 3 Malicious Blood, one per cleared Jotun invasion (Malicious Ice in Mörkhalla → invade the marked spot → break the Malicious Ice there).
- Blunt or slash damage only — Nord/Thunderblood sledge or Nord greatsword; fire, frost, lightning, pierce and spirit are all wasted.
- Food and meads: full health + stamina meals, healing and stamina meads, fire and frost resistance active before the fight.
- Summon staves (Spirit Caller) for aggro and utility damage.
Before you summon
- The Aesir Passage is marked by the Vegvisir inside Mörkhalla — the Intricate Key opens Mörkhalla (Mould: Intricate Key from Elakings in the Winding Tunnels, cast in the Frost Foundry with Bloodgold).
- Offer 3 Malicious Blood at the Strange Bowl — it opens The Prison.
- Kall is inactive until you approach: that pause is your final window to eat, refresh resistances, activate a Forsaken Power and repair weapons. There is no safe pause inside.
What Kall drops
The kill grants the Crown Jewel and Sacrificial Blood. No trophy, no Forsaken Power — Kall ends the chain. Offer the Sacrificial Blood at the Sacrificial Stones in the Meadows to complete the game.

Frequently asked questions
- How do I summon Kall Fimbulbringer?
- Collect 3 Malicious Blood by clearing three Jotun invasions (each triggered by breaking the Malicious Ice in Mörkhalla), then offer them at the Strange Bowl in the Aesir Passage to open The Prison.
- What do I bring to the fight?
- A top blunt or slash weapon (Nord/Thunderblood sledge, Nord greatsword), two strong health meals plus one high-stamina meal, healing and stamina meads, and fire plus frost resistance active before you start. Summon staves help with aggro and damage.
- Does Kall have a Forsaken Power?
- No — unlike the other Forsaken he drops no trophy and has no Forsaken Power. His drop is the Sacrificial Blood, which completes the game when offered at the Meadows altar, plus the Crown Jewel.
